Arctic Ice Cap Assignment:

In this assignment, I chose to create a powerpoint outlining some of the cons involved in the Arctic ice cap melting. This project helped me learn a lot about the serious consequences this event could have and is having on the world. I didn’t realize how big of a deal this could be until I did this project, and I’m glad I did. Overall, I enjoyed working on this project and spent a lot of time doing it to my best ability.

 

Wood Bug Lab:

 

In this experiment, my partner and I experimented with wood bugs. We tested to see if they could remember the way out of a maze if the same maze was repeatedly given to them. We found out that wood bugs actually can remember the way out of a maze. We did many trials, and in every one the wood bugs’ times went down each time they were given the maze. Overall, this was a really interesting experiment to do and I had no idea that wood bugs actually had the capabilities to remember the way out of a maze. This experiment was a great learning experience for both my partner and I.
