CORE COMPETENCY REFLECTION: creative thinking
For this unit project, we were asked to choose an animal that you would like to study. With lots of consideration and research, my partner and I choose the sea urchin. When working on this project I showed Creative thinking. I know that I showed creative thinking because of how I generated ways to show what we have learned. With the base of the statement such as, “I can ask open-ended questions and gather information.” I could analyze and brainstorm my many important questions to find the answers that I am looking for. For example. When I was given the questions, I answered then with the best of my abilities, thinking about how I can make it fun and informational for the readers. One of the many problems I faced was how I could and should layout my project. With hours of deep thinking and reading, I concluded that making the background all shades of grey would be an exceptional choice. I say this because when you observe the color grey it looks “bland” and uncolorful, however that shade is exactly what we needed to get the eye of the audience. By making the heritage gray and the letters in black with white outlining I made something that could look little to read but might nonetheless have the information as a normal page. Another component that inspired me to choose sea urchins became that the day earlier than this I had gone to a sea urchin farming region on Vancouver Island and visible all the fun things that changed into there. Never have I felt this efficient, new information popped in my head one by one. I looked back and evaluated my completed sections and felt happy with the information I have and moved onto the completion of our complete project within our order of written information. Everyone becomes tired sometimes. As a consequence of that our brains decide that it needs a break. When I’m on my break I usually go outside and enjoy some fresh oxygen. One does this because when you take in oxygen. The oxygen will help you think and focus better. I feel like going outside and taking deep breaths is one of the best things you can do for a quick and easy brain break. Lastly, I assume that it is crucial to learn approximately a subject before forming an opinion on it. I strive to become knowledgeable about what one talks approximately with getting to know is the exceptional component you can do. Unfortunately, for this project, we can absolutely make a hypothesis however what we are able to do is make a list approximately things that you want to learn, and with plenty of time wondering and pressure, I made my very very own KWL chart. With the assist of the KWL chart, I finished this project higher than how I imagined it. After reflecting on how I shared our information I can positively say that I can find facts, position it in my very own phrases and present it in a fun and engaging manner.
Although there had been many extremely good ways, I even have used creative thinking for this assignment, there were also a few matters I could improve on for next time. One issue that I may want to enhance on for next time is getting ideas once I use my senses to discover. I didn’t certainly discover that a lot whilst running on our venture because I already knew a lot approximately the species.
