Reflection — Playing God with Planet Earth

The idea I have chosen that I think is a good idea is the iron sprinkling into the ice to increase the plankton growth.

I think this is a good idea because it is cost effective, if it worked it would be fast, would remove and prevent CO2. This idea is also easily testable to see if it would really work which is just a perk. The idea I think is a bad idea is the sulpheric acid spraying. Although it is extremely cheap and would work fast we have no idea what the affect would be when it comes to weather and more importantly what the effect would be on us …….humans. This idea would also cause an up roar when it comes to politics, because who decides the temperature , and when it happens.

Tiggy Hog Project Reflection

In this Tiggy Hog project me and my group used a sway which none of us had ever used before. We had difficulties that we ran into when we were trying to convert the word document into Sway. We in the end figured it out after many failed attempts. I would most likely not be into using this program again. This project required me and my group to apply our knowledge and our new found data on Tiggy Hogs and format it using the scientific method which we had just learned in class. We over came many obstacles in this project digitally and group project wise but in the end the project turned out good . A core competency used is Critical Thinking.

 

 

 

Reflection for lead project:

This project we had to move past many roadblocks, we were not given an extensive amount of class time so most of the work for this project was done on our own time. This obstacle definitely was a tougher one, everyone had different free available day and un free others. After moving past this road block it was smooth sailing for the most part. A skill a developed through this project was defiantly how to do a better job on research and how and where to gather good, reliable and accurate up to date research on our topic. We all were responsible for certain things in this project so personal responsibility was a very largely used core competency.
