Tiggy Hog lab
As you can see that’s our groups power point on top of my text.
reflection: what we did is that we bringed 2 flasks to put the tiggy hugs on it, and we decided to give 1 flask just a small slice of normal apple but in this other flask we gave them slice of apple but it had red bull on it because if we give the toggi hogs food that has lots of caffeine in it then we think it will be more active and eat more. We think it will act this way because we see this in people, when they drink lots caffeine they become more active for a period of time and consume more food.
what we were looking the most for was if the tiggy hogs would get faster than the others because of the red bull because it was a energy drink. so we started off bad because non of the tiggy hogs ate the apple. so we had to bring the slice of apples and apples with red bull closer to their math and kind of force them to eat it, only 2 of them ate the slice of apple with redbull and we saw a little of change between them and the other tiggy hogs and as we expected they got more active that the other tiggy hogs.
that’s it and I found tiggy hogs so interesting and I liked how they reacted, and I learned some new processes of how to put stuff like power points or word documents on your blog with help of Mr. Aitken.
Human Impacts on Natural Systems
Reflection: so our topic was Cattle Farming, Methane, and Global Climate Change and through this project I learned a lot about methane, and one of the facts that I liked the most was that “Methane is more dangerous than carbon dioxide and traps 30 times more heat, it is not just because of burning fuels, the natural emission from melting permafrost is most important too”.
the other thing I learned which was helpful and new for me was the text to speech app, every person in the group had a different job and my job was that I had to make the information and the texts to speech so there was an app that one of my friend recommended and it helps you just type the text and a girl will read it for you like a robot.
and I learned a little bit of editing and putting a voice on a video.
