Reflection Paragraph

In science class, Mr. Moretti gave us an assignment where we had to choose an animal then research how they sexually reproduce.  Aly Jacob and I chose the Rhinoceros because it is a well known animal that should have a lot of information. Communication: We used the Adobe Spark Video app to demonstrate our information. Adobe Spark Video was a new digital media that I have not used and I got a chance to experience using the app and it was really easy. Critical Thinking: When we were researching, we looked at a various amounts of web sites and we could only put so much information in the presentation so we had to think what sources/information is most critical to arrive at the best conclusion. There were a lot of sites that had biased information so we detected them right away and skipped that site. Creative Thinking: We came up with ideas of pictures to put in the background that would represent our information the best and so we grabbed some pictures from the web and started to build of those pictures for new pictures, etc. Positive Awareness and Responsibility: I learned a lot about how blessed we are to not be going through what Rhinos do because all they do is eat and sleep then repeat, that would be a boring life compared to what humans do in my heritage. People from my heritage have access to way more than Rhinos do so that changes my view on the world. Social Awareness and Responsibility: I learned how to set more goals in my life because if I don’t set goals then I will have a boring life like a Rhino. I ski to stay active and I also participate in P.E. at school. Social Responsibility: I learned to appreciate someone else perspective by learning about the rhinos because the Rhinos are limited to what they can do but they are still happy to even have a life and there are some people in our world that don’t care about the opportunity of having a life, so I learned to appreciate what I have and what I can do.
