For this assignment, our teacher gave us the freedom to create and perform our own experiment. As a group we used our critical thinking skills to quickly develop an experiment that would be quick and easy to setup, as we only had one class to complete this assignment. Every member communicated their ideas to one another and as a group we decided to test whether or not not a heavier toy car would travel further down a track as opposed to a lighter car. Once we ran through our experiment, we recorded and graphed our data and finally developed a conclusion from our results. This experiment ran very smoothly, as everyone did their part and contributed in some way, which helped reduce the work load on each person.
