I think that this was a very good essay for us to write as our first assignment because it is always easiest to write about yourself, as we know ourself the best. This assignment really challenged my creative thinking, as I had to dig deep into my identity to discover who I truly am. There were numerous times were I was stuck for ideas, and I had to clear my mind in order to  focus and gain more insight. In this essay, I also learned a lot about my identity. Before writing this essay, I never really thought about what makes me who I am, however, after doing a bit of research about myself, I now know a great amount about all the things that have contributed in crafting my identity.
