Orange Shirt Day, or National Day of Truth and Reconciliation is a day where we remember and honor the children of residential schools. This day is important because we need to raise awareness to the horrible things that happened in those schools. While doing that we can also raise money to donate towards funds to help people dealing with the trauma of residential schools.
