Math 10

Final Exam.
My final exam was one of the hardest tests I had to take this year. It challenged me to memorize tons of formulas at once and forced me not to procrastinate because I knew that I wouldn’t be able to finish studying in one night. Not understanding an equation can be frustrating but once you can everything else becomes easy. My favourite part about math is doing an equation and seeing that I got it right without any help. Doing the math final was very stressful, I didn’t see my grade on it but I knew it accounted for a big part of my grade. Seeing the A on my report card gave me a huge sense of accomplishment and made me like math more. It taught me a lot on time management, analyzing information without making it confusing and to be organized. With so many concepts to learn at once it was important for me to be organized and not jumbled.

Trig.
The reason I chose trig was because I wasn’t there for the unit. I was in Manitoba attending my grandma’s funeral. Not having a teacher at hand to help me with the assigments I got before I left was difficult. emailing her was not an option as my uncle doesn’t have wifi. I had to figure the equations out with my textbook and notes alone. It was harder but it gave me a sense of independence. I had to constantly double check my answers because I didn’t have a teacher to confirm it was correct. I liked only relying on myself and the challenge.
