Hello! Welcome to my blog. My name is Anika and I’m currently in the high school. Here are a few interesting things about me. I’ve been dancing since I was very young, around 2 years old. I have been doing ballet ever since then and I still love it. For a few years, I was competing in dance, but realized I love ballet, not competing. I have also been horse riding for the past year and I loved it. I plan to continue to ride and try to get better at it. I hope to soon compete in riding. I used to swim, but over the years I realized I liked riding and dancing way better. I occasionally take art classes in hope of making my art skills better. When I have free time, I love to bake, sketch, or hangout with my friends. After asking for one for a whole year, my family got an adorable dog named Kona. We all love her very much and we are all so glad we got her. Please enjoy reading more about me!

The main reason this is my favourite quote is because I love the rain, and I like this quote even more because its very inspirational. Since I have been dancing from a young age, I connect to this quote very much because of how it says “it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” I sometimes find myself dancing when things go wrong, just like the quote says. The quote’s meaning is instead of being angry or sad when things go wrong, learn to embrace everything instead. I would love to work towards being happy even when I find a problem, like the quote says.

This is my favourite youtube video. The video is of a ballerina dancing, the dance of the sugar plum fairies from the ballet, the nutcracker. I chose this video because the ballerina is an amazing dancer and I hope one day I will be almost as good of a dancer as she is. This is also my favourite dance from the nutcracker, which is the only ballet I’ve ever seen live. I’ve heard of other ballets, and I can already tell without seeing the other ballets live that this is my favourite ballet. I would love to be in the nutcracker.

My favourite website is Instagram because its my favourite form of social media. Its my main website I use for posting, and seeing what my friends are up to. I use Instagram almost everyday to look what famous people, people I know, and what my friends are posting and have done recently. I like Instagram over other websites because it is a very easy social media website to use, and almost everyone I know has an account. I tend to post about once a month, but I use the website much more than that.

My favourite picture is a picture of pointe shoes and roses. This is my favourite picture because I love ballet and being on pointe, and roses are my favourite flower. I really enjoy looking at this photo because both items in it express who I am. I have always loved roses, and ballet, so I was very happy when I came across this photo. When I look at this photo, it puts me in a good mood because I am reminded of how much I love to dance.
