My dream job would be a photographer. My plan at the moment is to live in a little cottage-like house in the middle of the woods and can take photos of the landscape and wildlife. Then sell my creations on my website or in a market like the one on Sundays at the Port Moody Recreation Center.

My dad thinks I should be something that pays more money like a police officer (like his side of the family) or a real estate agent (like him). I believe that the best job isn’t something that pays the most but it’s something that you love doing and photography is something I love doing.

Something in business, sales, or entrepreneurship would be a suitable degree for my goal because you don’t need any qualifications to take photos but I would need some training to get my business going.

How can screen time be beneficial? How can screen time affect us negatively?

screen time can be beneficial because you can have a break from reality. you can talk to friends across the world or play games. It can also affect us negatively by producing blue light for our eyes and can damage our vision.

At what age should people be allowed to use social media in your opinion?

12 years of age. I say this because that is what the apple app store said and that’s when I first got social media. I definitely matured a lot faster so really it depends on the parents making the decision based on the child’s behaviour.

How can you respect the privacy of others online?

don’t ask personal questions like the name? or age? address? social security number? The person you are talking to will open up once they know they can trust you.

How can I make sure my online relationships are positive and healthy?

let’s say I meet someone who is as interested in photography as I am and has taken a photo of Indonesia. I start talking to them about photography and editing and I want to confirm this person is safe. To confirm, I will ask questions like: When did you go? How long was the flight? By answering these questions they have given me some good information. If they were just there maybe a year ago they should remember how long the flight was. If they went a long time ago like in 2009 I would only be a year old so if they took such a good photo they must have been over 8, which is a lot older than me at the time, so this person will be a no-go. Also take a look at their profile, if they don’t really show their face and/or it’s completely private, I’m going to say no to that one too. Remember, it’s not “just a random person”, nothing is random on the internet.
