Propaganda Reflection
For my propaganda poster, I decided to incorporate many the struggles of starvation and Napoleon. I used the three piglets to portray Napoleon and other white colonists. In the picture, they are seen sitting eating food, while two commoners beside them are unhappy and starving. At the very top of the picture there are words that say, “Is this who you want to lead our country”, and at the bottom, it says “Join the fight. I choose these words because at the beginning of the revolt and the black rebellion slaves were unsure if they should be a part of the revolution, as there was much destruction because of it. My poster is supposed to show that Napoleon (emperor of France, and Haiti.) had no interest in changing society, and rather is only doing things that benefit himself. For the poster, I choose many bright colours as it brings attention to the illustration and the literature. I also tried to not to combine the colours red, white and blue together as it represents France and their ideas. By doing this project I learned how powerful different colours, words and illustrations could be, and how it can change people’s opinions.

core competencies reflection – communication
i felt that i need a good job on this assignment, i gave my ideas and i did well communicating with my group to come up with the script. i also got the chance to record my voice which i’m not very used to, Another part of communication that i did very well was even out of school i texted my parts/ background noises and other ideas to Katelyn because it was on her computer. I really feel that i contributed to the group.
