I’ve wanted to be a cardiologist since I was 7 years old. The reason is that when I was 7 my grandpa had a heart surgery and when I went to visit my grandpa all the machines in his room amazed me and when the doctor saw that I was interested he explained what his job was about and I loved it. I am passionate about this job because when I grow up, I want to help people and I don’t want them to lose their loved ones because of a heart disease. To pursue this dream at first, I must get my bachelor’s degree, then I must take the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). After this I must apply to medical school, which is going take 4 years to finish. Then I’m going to take part in a residency program which is going to take 3 years. And at last I must obtain a fellowship program which also is going to take 3 years to finish. In total it’s going to take 10 years after getting my bachelor’s degree. The mean salary for this job is 423000$ per year which is 35250$ per month in America but in Canada the average salary is 275000$ which is 121$ per hour. In my opinion this is one of the hardest and the most stressful job between the other doctors because in a surgery the patients life is a matter of time and everything has to be calculated.

I don’t know anyone who can help me pursue my dream because no one in my family or friends are a cardiologist but I can contact a university by email if I have any questions about this job. And also I could work as a volunteer as a doctors assistant so I will have a background what this job looks like.
