Reflection

A core competency that was incorporated in this project was communication.  My class and I practiced our public speaking skills by reading a novel, then sharing it out-loud with the class.  Communication is something everyone is at different levels in, and if we get more comfortable doing it, it will help us become more successful in school and work etc. Practicing it will also prepare us for the future and will overall improve our skills and learning.  Public speaking is something that I personally dislike doing but from this project I’ve learned what can positively improve the way I present.  I still have lots of room to grow and I will take what I have learned from this project with me for future public speaking projects.
