English Poetry Video

Reflection: I think that during this project my group and I used creative thinking to create a good video/movie. For the video we created we had to take a old narrative poem and re-vamp it to create a new video with different ideas but the same structure. For my part in the creation of this video, I had to act out the parts that I was in and also help with scripting and editing in order to make sure that our video was up to par and was our best work. I believe that this is one of my best group project i have done so far throughout high school but believe that there is stuff to improve and like every project there is much room for improvement and growth. If i had to chose to remake this project I definitely wouldn’t because I think that our group put in a lot of work and did a great job for the time limit given.

What could have been done better: Personally I think that we did a really good job on this project and the only thing we could have done better would be our sound quality and the changes in sound within the video, but that would have taken longer and would’ve needed more professional equipment. One other thing we could maybe have changed would have been a green screen but that would have needed more time than given and resources we didn’t have.

Origin Story- Creation of bear paw

Reflection: For this assignment I think that I used Creative thinking. For this project we were asked to come up with an origin story to do with something we liked. Taking the small foundation we were set for this project I had to expand and create new characters and different ideas based on the criteria. The process of creating new characters and ideas was fun because I was able to use my imagination to see what i could create.

What I could have done better: I believe that for this project I could have spent a bit more time editing the speech and playing around with certain tools. I also think I could have used my class time more productively instead of wasting time.

Reflection- I believe for this infographic assignment that I used critical thinking. During the process of putting this together I had to work with the sources provided to better by knowledge on online safety and safe searches. I worked to figure out the different components of a good search and some tools to help to make a search easier, quicker, and more precise. By doing all these thing i was able to put together a decent info-graph a get a better understanding of the internet.

Reflection: For this assignment i think i used critical thinking in a few ways. With this assignment i had to manage my time and make sure i had enough work and quality work for the criteria. I had to find time and work efficiently in class and at home in order to make sure it was completed in time. During this project I collaborated and compared with my peers and was able to create a better project. With doing a good project come with hard work, I believe that this pictochart was one of my better pieces of work in science and helped improve my overall grade in the class.

I think during this project i could have put my work into the template earlier and not left it till the last moment.

Reflection:

I think this brochure and research project gave me a good idea of what life was life back during the industrial revolution. I think it was very educational and helpful in understanding what working conditions were like during that time. I think I used critical thinking for this project because I had to think about different aspects of the industrial revolution in order to complete this assignment. This project made me think outside the box with my research and the final presentation of this project.
For this project i think i could have spent a bit more time on the visual not on the writing.

Why I Remember

During this project we got to look into our history and our nations past to reflect on why we remember.  I had to talk to my parents and get them to talk to other family members to find out if we had any family members who served in the Canadian military and currently serving. Throughout the few days we worked on this project I got to look back at the wars Canada fought in and wars they were allied in and I saw how big of an impact Canadian Military Services meant to the world.

What I could have done better: I think I could have gone a little deeper into my family’s past to see if I had any family members serve in wars earlier than WWI but I think I went far enough for this project.

Reflection: I think during this project i used creative thinking because of the style of project. For this project we had to work as a group to create a inquiry based question and think of a good way to show that. During this assignment I had to do my part of the project and not let the group down.

WHat I could have done better: For this project i think i could have done better was be more prepared for the project and have all my supplies. During the project our group didn’t get our wood bugs in time so we had to borrow from other people.
