About Me- Carter Demelo

Hi, my name is Carter and I enjoy playing hockey, mountain biking, and skiing. I have a brother and parents. My favorite school subject is PE because it’s fun and I’m good at it. I am excited for new experiences and to do new things this year. throughout the year I want to get involved in  school activities and be a part of the school. I would like to be able to get good grades and do well in school but also be able to have a social life and also play hockey. This year I will be doing a more intense hockey program and I want to be able to manage hockey and school.

I like this video because it is made by one of my favourite youtubers and it’s a funny video. I also like this video because it is somewhat true and some of the stuff said can kind of apply to actual high school stuff. The video is funny and I like how it was made. I think that this video says a lot about stereotypes and the way things are thought of today.

My Favourite website is Pinkbike because it is a buy/sell site that is also used for people to share photos and videos related to mountain biking. I have sold 2 bikes on the site and bought 3, it is a reliable site and is really helpful. I like this site because it has been helpful in different situations and can really be a lifesaver. Overall, I think this is one of my favourite sites just because of the safety and helpfulness of everything that is on it.

 

I picked this photo as my favourite because it is one of the best photos that showcased the winning goal in the 2010 Olympics(Golden Goal). I really like this photo because you can really see what has happened and I feel that the photo captures the situation. I still remember where I was the time of the goal and how crazy my family went when it happened, I think that the goal and he Olympics were really important to the city of Vancouver and all the fans and people in the province.

I like this quote because it has a good message of making sure you don’t give up and that you don’t give up. my coaches have always said this message and always say never give up and never stop trying. when you get knocked down get right back up and try it again.
