Creative Thinking:

Mikhael and I demonstrated creative thinking in our product by imagining a hockey puck as a magic stone and writing a story partially about it. First of all, we had to find an object that we could use our imaginations to imagine as something else, we decided to use a hockey puck. We had struggled a bit to choose an object but then eventually chose a hockey puck because it slightly resembles a stone, and a stone could be useful for many things. After that, we had to decide what exactly the hockey puck was going to do or represent in the story. We eventually decided to make it a magic stone that would transform a normal sand castle in to a gigantic, magic one. Looking back at it, this project really forced us to push our creative thinking skills and I think that I am now a better creative thinker than I was before this project.

What I Would do Better:

For our oral presentation, Mikhael and I decided to voice over our speech and present the audio to the class. Next time, I think I would prefer to just present the text to the class orally in front of them. I believe that this would provide a more interesting, attractive presentation. Also, I would write myself a full story outline before starting to write next time, at certain points while writing this story, I got a bit lost in my own thoughts and started to not know exactly where the story was heading. An outline of the story before hand would help with this.
