This assignment was where we photoshopped ourselves into an Avatar. We had to shoot a regular profile picture, then change our skins colour, eye and nose shape, and add ears/markings on our face. This was definitely the project I used the most photoshop on. I thought it would be a lot harder but luckily I got the hang of it pretty quickly. I learned how to change my facial structure, add images overlapping (ears), and add overlays (the markings). A challenge I faced was I had trouble choosing how opaque I wanted the markings to be. I wanted them to look real but at the same time I didn’t want them to be completely opaque because that would cover natural shadows of my face. I really learned a lot about photoshop. I don’t really like this page just because I don’t like my face and how its slightly tilted, but I didn’t like any of my pictures from this assignment anyways. I could have improved my face in this, and my eyes.
