My name is Curtis. My parents immigrated from Hong Kong to Canada before I was born. Being born into a Christian family, I spent a lot of my time at church, being there on Sunday mornings and also talking with God.

I am an athletic person who enjoys doing many things.I enjoy trying many different things. My favourite sport to play is badminton. I have played badminton competitively for 3 years. I enjoy it very much because this sport requires me to create strategies, and act quickly with my reflexes.

This is one of my favourite Youtube videos ever because I really liked this dance group and this video really caught my attention. The thing I like about this video most is that the idea was innovative and cool, and I’ve never seen someone else do something like this. I originally saw this video first when I was bored on a weekend. After I saw this performance, I was really hooked on their dances and I searched up this dance group to watch all their videos.

This is one of my favourite quotes of all time because it explains that should always try my hardest because even if I don’t exceed my expectations, I will get farther then not trying my best no matter what. I really like this quote but sometimes I’m too afraid of failing. I need to learn to try. I also want to learn on how to keep a growth mindset and to be not afraid of failing.

My favourite website in the world is www.youtube.com. I like it so much because it entertains me for hours. Although that may not be a good thing, I tend to go on it  everyday for at least ten minutes. I like having it also because it gives me information about the world, learning about current events, and even research for school projects.

A Meaningful Image

This is a feathered birdie. It represents the first time that I ever played at a tournament. I used to practice with plastic birdies, but the tournament used feather birds so had to quickly adapt. Although I ended up not doing to well, My coach allowed me to begin practicing with feather birdies, and it really gave me a sense of accomplishment.
