Digital Footprint

What is a digital footprint? What would having one do? What is the airdate of Jojo’s part V? All this and more answered in this informative article. A digital footprint is as its name suggests. A footprint – a collection of things left behind (in this context), on the internet. Having a digital footprint can have bad side effects. For example,  if you tweet something controversial, then you may lose a job or a scholarship. Some strategies to use, so you can guarantee that you won’t get kicked off the national hnefatafl team. Not saying or doing bad stuff on public websites that may be open to googling may be a bad idea. Using alternate names on all accounts, or setting social media accounts to private may be a good idea. The information and tidbits I knew before (because this is common sense) were this: 1. Don’t say stupid stuff (publicly under your own name) because it will come back and bite your ass 2. Don’t post your personal information online for reasons I hope I don’t need to explain and 3. Be careful when posting pictures that you don’t want everyone to see. How I would pass this on to later generations, who will know the internet inside and out more than we can ever hope to in our lifetimes, is this. Saying just one sentence. One sentence to rule them all. The sentence that will fall the lords of cinder and link the flame. “Don’t be an idiot online.” Also, use 2 step verification.

Also, Jojo’s part 5 starts airing October 5th.

  1. Message shows an understanding of your digital footprint but the information is not entirely relevant. The information present does not go into enough depth – more explanation is needed. You need to also ensure that the overall presentation of your information is better. You should look to divide your information up using headers and bullets as well as integrating your images and your text. 2.5/5
