ABOUT ME:

Hi, my name is Ellie. I am in 9th Grade, I’m making this blog to learn more Digital Literacy and how to be safe online. Let me tell you a little about my self, I have dirty blonde hair and greeny-blue eyes. I live with both my parents, my little sister named Alana and my dog Pepper. Pepper is an Airedale terrier and is 6 years old.

I have a lot of energy, l am very active and I always feel like jumping around. Because of my energy, I do a lot of sports. I do volleyball, archery and dance. I started archery because my dad is a high-level archer. The highest level that was ranked was 2th best in Canada but at the moment he is placing around 5th best in Canada. Now I am training to go to the Britsh Columbia winter games for archery. Well doing this though I am still planning to play volleyball with the club team Focus and Dance with Port Moody school of dance.

First, I will talk about the first quote. This quote is one of my favourite quotes because when I was in elementary school I had a Learning disability and was behind in reading and writing I always felt different than all the other kids. Then I heard the quote and what I took from it was that I was smart but I was smart in different ways than other kids and I just learn differently.

The Second quote stands out to me because it reminds me that when something goes wrong something good can always come from it. I like to live by this as a moto so I can help myself see the world positively and not give up so easily.

FAVOURITE YOUTUBE CLIP:

This is my favourite Youtube clip for many reasons. Mostly though because it is very inspirational. It reminds me that you will never get yesterday back, so you need to try to make every moment worth the while. Stride so that every day, you learn, work, get something done, or just have fun. Don’t be scared to embrace the moment and most of all don’t miss out on any opportunities. This is why I like this Youtube clip.

BuzzFeed is probably my favourite website just because it can entertain me for hours. I like it because most of there articles are teaching you something but they teach it to you in an entertaining way. BuzzFeed also has many more things than just articles, they have news reports, reviews, videos, recipes, hacks and quizzes. I do like other websites too like- https://www.netflix.com and https://www.youtube.com but I think that BuzzFeed is still probably my favourite, just because you can do so much more on their website than other websites.

PHOTO THAT HAS IMPACTED ME:

Yesterday I noticed that the Sunset was really pretty, I decided to go outside and take a photo even though I knew that the sunset was going to look better in real life. I know that this photo is supposed to impact me in some way and it probably doesn’t seem like it does. Let me explain why it impacts me.

Every evening I walk past the big window in front of my house facing the Sunset. I see the sunset every night. It always looks unique and beautiful. This reminds me that the world is a beautiful place and makes me feel happy every night. Reminding myself this every night impacts me. It makes me feel happier overall and I like to think that when I am happy it is contagious and makes others happy too.
