For bring your kid to work day I was fortunate enough to accompany my mom to Telus gardens where I learned a lot about her job. I was able to listen in to a call my mom had with here entire team which allowed e to really understand the dynamic of her team. I then got to go to a workshop with VR and fibre optics. Following that was a presentation that my uncle gave about how society works and the importance of different issues. After lunch my friend Sarah Conner and I were given a tour of the CO building which is where Telus keeps most of the TV and phone data. It was really interesting but very hot. After the long trek through the Co building Sarah and I were allowed into the innovation centre curtesy to my uncle, and we were allowed to play is tilt brush for an hour while we waited for our parents while they were in meetings. Once an hour was up our parents came down to get us and I took the west coast express home.
