Core Competencies Reflection
Core Competency: _______Critical Thinking_____________
When writing my ‘Compare and Contrast Essay’, I found that I had to use a lot of critical thinking to find creative differences and similarities between the two stories. I had to think farther than the obvious, and look into the real meaning of the story. I compared themes, as well as thinks like, where the stories took place and how much wealth the characters from the two stories had. I had to think critically, when thinking of detailed words. And finally I had to strategize when writing my rough draft, and then making it my good draft, I had to think of smooth transitions.
Ways I want to improve are… Next time, I will make sure I have the right font size, and that it is spaced properly. I also typed my essay first in Pages, then in Word, but for the format I wanted I should have just originally done it in Word
