All About Me~

Hi,my name is Emily H and I am a grade 9 student here at HWSS.
My hobbies include, piano, dance and swimming. I am in the process of
becoming a lifeguard, and I hope that one day it becomes my student job.
I also play the piano as I mentioned earlier. I am in grade 8 contemporary
and hope to do an exam coming up in June. And finally I dance at
Caulfield School of Dance. I was on point for almost two years and shorty
after had to quite ballet because my schedule was getting too busy. I live
with my family of four. My mom, dad,and sister. I also have a fish names
Bubbles.

I chose this quote because I can really relate to it. If I am trying to decide if I should do something or not, I just think to myself, “you only live once” and usually it will convince me to do it. You only live once and life is short so try to make your life a memorable one and try to leave with a good reputation. Be kind, generous and have fun.

I chose this video because I think it is really funny and satisfying. I tend to lean more towards movies and youtube videos rather than television show or series’. I was just browsing the other day and found this video. It made me laugh and I could relate to a lot of the stuff she was doing, this is why I chose this video.

 

Picture That Speaks To Me~

I chose this image because I think I have a ‘bright’ and ‘colourful’ personality. The bright colours and funky design reflect how I think I am as a personI also love playing, listening, and dancing to music, so it fits perfectly with the picture. I play grade 8 contemporary piano, and just recently made the switch from classical to contemporary. I love the modern feel of contemporary music and I also love contemporary dance. It is one of my favourite styles that I also started fairly recently. I think this picture feels quite modern, and has a contemporary feel to it, with the reflection of the music notes and the paint splattered all over.

I chose this website because I love to watch videos in my free time. Youtube has lots of educational videos and tutorials if you want to learn something new. It also provides entertainment for you to watch in your free time. When I play piano, I love to compose my own music and take original songs and spice them up. I use Youtube to her what the original song sounds like, then I take the melody and if it hasn’t been played on the piano before I turn it into a piano song. Then I jazz it up, taking different parts and timing from different songs and I sort of create my own.
