For my social studies project, I decided to upload my current events from my first package. I decided to upload this project because it shows how I can use my critical thinking skills to analyze and critique information so I could then share it with others. In this assignment I was able to show that I can identify the criteria that I can use to analyze evidence because I was able to take out key parts from an article to write about in my response. I can analyze my own assumptions and beliefs and consider views that do not fit with them; I demonstrated this by writing in why I thought it was important to do this assignment and what my opinion or bias was. If I was to do this assignment again, I think I would look more into the author to understand their bias on the article. This was an interesting and a very educational project; it helped me to understand what was going around in our city, country or the world and why why we should be paying attention to what is around us.
