In this lab Keely, Doris, and I all worked with wood bugs in an experiment. In the experiment we placed 5 wood bugs in the center of a plate with 5 different food products to see which one they would go to first. The experiment was to see what their favorite food would be outside natural diet of: grass, weeds, etc. We recorded the results in a table along with different features of the experiment. The instructions to how the experiment can be done, and photos to help support and understand this project. This is the finished document of all the research and final result of the experiment.

In this project about “The melting ice cap”, I learned a lot about the earths spheres, global warming, and how much of a serious issue it is. I improved on my knowledge use of PowerPoint, a program I don’t often use, and how to share my leaning and knowledge of the subject using the program. I decided to use PowerPoint because I thought it would be a straight forward way of showing my learning with both questions and answers. One of my obstacles of finishing the visual project and using the program was learning how to use it and thinking about the designs of the slides. I planned out the sections and organization about what my overall goal would be for the project and it worked! I will take this experience into my future lessons as one of my options of a presentation, as I quite enjoyed it. This project has opened my mind about how the world works and the sciences of stability towards the spheres and their importance. Overall I enjoyed leaning about this unit.
