About me:

My name is Haley.  I have a few hobbies and things that I enjoy doing in my free time. First things first, I love sports-In particular Basketball, gymnastics, and running. Any chance I get, i’ll want to be doing some type of activity. I’m also definitely an animal person, as I have a dog myself that I like to walk and play with. My favorite foods would have to be Sushi because of how many different types you can get as well as any type of fruit. I love to travel, too. I have been many places, but my favorite place would have to be Maui, Hawaii.  I am an outgoing, positive person who enjoys a challenge. There are many reasons that this is my favorite video on YouTube. The first one being that I absolutely adore and love to watch the Olympics every 2 years. Whether its summer or winter sports, I find it so inspirational and motivating to watch, therefore why I chose this video. I also chose this video due to the fact that it commemorates a lot of the athletes that basically dedicated their life to be there and it shows that all of their hard work and sacrifice has paid off. Lastly, I picked this video because the Olympics is full of beauty. In a world full of wars and hate, I find it amazing how we can all come together from different countries to share our love for sport.

EllenTube would have to be my favorite website because I also love comedy. Whether i’m having a good or bad day, I can always rely on this website to somehow make me laugh. Ellen is such a positive influence and can brighten my mood in seconds, from jokes, to photos, and even to interviews. She has broken barriers and stereotypes in the most humble way possible. And not to mention is so incredibly giving, kind and talented!

Out of the many photos on the internet, this would have to be my favorite one. As I’ve said before, Maui, Hawaii was the most amazing place I have ever traveled to, hence why I chose the photo of a beach there. While I was in Hawaii I made so many awesome memories that will last a lifetime, and looking at this photo brings me back. Also, what’s not to love about a Hawaiian beach-you can snorkel, boogie board, surf and just simply swim! All things that I love to do. The ocean holds many fascinating species as well, like dolphins, and so many different types of fish. These are the reasons why I chose this photo as my favorite on the internet.

I value this quote as I believe these are words of wisdom. If you want to achieve great things, you have to go out of  your comfort zone. This quote applies for anything you do-whether it’s in academics, sports, or a hobby you’re passionate about. To me, I live by this quote especially in school and sports. Whether i’m finding a new way of presenting something in class i’m not fully comfortable with, or going for a gymnastics skill i’m slightly scared of, I always have this quote in the back of my mind. I have learned that in order to see your full potential you need to go beyond what you think you can do. I will carry this quote and mindset with me throughout my time at Heritage Woods.
