I needed to used critical thinking in this assignment. One way I demonstrated critical thinking is when we were trying to come up with a way to make sure the wood bugs stayed inside of our box I suggested that we line the edges with paper and fill the bottom with a very thin layer of dirt this will prevent them from trying to escape the box. Another area I demonstrated this competency is I suggested that we should put some salt water and some sugar water on the dirt on their respective sides, this way even if they don’t go for the carrots we can still record which side they go to. One problem that we had was that some just decided that they should play dead and not move. Next time if we got the sound of a wood bug predator and played it then they would run toward a side.
