For my English 11 assignment, I had to organize a poem about an art form that I am most passionate about. I chose Music. The poem that I made help made me improve my creative thinking skills. In some ways, it also made me go back to positive personal and cultural identity.

Upon making the poem, I had to use my creativity on what I would do to the poem, on how I would want to express myself. I used creativity to pick out the vocabulary for the poem and the figurative languages or poetic devices I would use on such poem; as well as pinpoint the where I should put the chosen words and how I want them to be delivered. Mrs. Van Gaalen said, that spaces in poems are just as important as the words that make up the poem itself. Finally, my positive personal and cultural identity are because the poem is something I love doing. In my poem, I showed my deep knowledge of music and how music is a big part of my life.
