” On the Move ” by Thom Gunn

That’s is the poem that I to annotate and analyze. For this assignment, I have used my critical thinking skills to the fullest of my abilities. I analyze the poem’s figurative languages from similes and metaphors, to rhyme scheme and number of stanzas. I showed my belief on what the speaker of the poem is trying to say and share. I made comments on a handful of lines and researched words that I wasn’t familiar with in the poem. Trying to gather and organize information as much as I can. I even checked the poet’s background to try and see their perspective in life and see a glimpse of reason on why they would write a poem in such a way.
