At the beginning of leadership 10, the class had to gather six photos from the life that have somewhat valuable memories to them or is showing what their passionate about and their personality. By doing this project, I have used the core competencies of positive personal and cultural awareness, as well as personal awareness and social responsibility. 

Looking at my past memories certainly showed my culture and heritage to my fellow peers. I have shown them a different culture, ( the Philippines) and gave them my perspective on being born in another country full of summer’s hate then moving to Canada where I saw snow for the first time. I shared my values, such as my family and how they have influenced my life for me to become the me I am today. My personal awareness and social responsibility were choosing appropriate photos for this assignment, as well as making a positive contribution to the class about the events that has happened in my life
