After finishing this semester of Pre-Calculus 11 I was able to practice a plethora of competencies. One of these competencies that I was able to achieve was developing questions to difficult math problems and presenting the question in a way that is understandable to me and my math teacher in order to receive the help needed. An example of this happening was during our trigonometry unit where we learned about the different trigonometric laws. During this particular unit I had several questions regarding our assigned homework, and I was able to identify the issues and communicate these concerns with my teacher who was able to provide assistance. Math also allowed me to experience social responsibility because I was able to assist others who needed help to understand certain mathematical problems and their processes.
