In this assignment students had to create a road map that would direct them towards their future aspirations and reflect on their past in regards to the events that have shaped who they are today. This road map explored my personal & cultural identity as I was able to explore my values and how I made these choices. In this road map I reflected upon a time in my life where I struggled with bullying, from this experience (through the road map activity) I was able to see how this changed my values towards compassion and empathy towards others. The portion of the road map that reflected on my upcoming aspirations, allowed me to identify my values and strengths and learn about what a truly am interested in. I am certain that these strong beliefs in science will shape the direction of my future.
