Extracurricular: Piano
Ever since I was a young kid, I always wanted to play an musical instrument, I didn’t know what type of an instrument, but I knew I wanted to play an instrument. I was later introduced to the piano by my parents when I was just six years old. I immediately began to play the piano and enjoyed my time on it. I would get lessons once a week and it was the only thing I did outside for school for a while. Later in my life, about in grade 6, I began to hate the piano and having to practice it everyday. It was such a waste of time to me, I could be doing homework or playing spots, but instead I was stuck playing the piano. The idea of piano just began to irritate me so I began to beg my mom to cut the lessons, my mom firmly said no at first, but I began to wear her down. Eventually she gave in so my grade 7 year was piano-free, but after the summer of grade 7, my mom made me do the lessons again and here I am, still playing piano. Around when grade 8 was coming to a end, I just began to embrace it and would have my days when I would enjoy the piano and hate it sometimes to this very day.
