Student Reflections:

  1. Give three reasons why you would like this job: a) Accounting is more logically inclined, meaning it fits how I use critical thinking the most. b) There’s not much physical activity, as I want a relaxing and not intensive job. c) In the workplace, it’s normally very quiet.
  2. Give three reasons why you would not like this job: a) Could be repetitive, as I’m doing calculations for the whole day. b) I’d be staring at a screen for long hours without moving around much. c) A quiet workplace is good, but always quiet is not that good. Limited interaction is something that I don’t really like.
  3. Is this job for you? Why or why not: I do not think this job is for me, as I do not like the idea of doing calculations all day, and having limited interactions with my co-workers.
  4. Explain the value of the TYKTW experience in relation to your ideas about your post secondary (after high school) plans (education?, training?, travel?, work?): The TYKTW gives me a good idea of what I want in a work place, as well as broadens my horizons on how a company and each employee works.
