Kiki Lee’s Pedigree

Competency Reflection:
The photo above shows a small pedigree of my family. It required hard work to gather information as this wasn’t a typical thing discussed. Using Critical thinking, I used a strategy that allowed me to collect info fast and efficiently. By calling relatives from way back, I was able to collect reliable info from many sources. This gave me a chance to talk to those I haven’t talked to in a while as well:)

Before I had started to draw my pedigree, I sketched out a rough draft to get an idea of what I wanted my good copy to look like. This uses creative thinking as I needed to come up with a creative way to present the information collected. I searched up a few pedigrees online to get a sense of what one should look like then combined a few looks together and finally added the requirements of the assignment. This was one factor that motivated me in creating something new. Overall this was a fun assignment I could benefit from.
