What do I want to learn in English 9?

In English 9 at Heritage Woods Secondary School I want to improve my writing, add more description, explore more vocabulary in the world of Canadian English. I strength in reading stories but I struggle writing stories and writing outstanding.  I would like to learn how to improve my writing skills with longer paragraphs, more description and details.  Also i want to learn the proper ways to start, the middle and the end of  a paragraph professionally. Another thing I want to do is expand my english vocabulary. I will do this by reading a few chapters of a book in a week.  Another way to expand my vocabulary is by learning a word a day or week.  Also I will use the word I learn in the next writing assignment we do in English 9. I still need to work on the perfect grammar for every writing assignment I do in my life and at Heritage Woods secondary School.  Some things i would like to learn this year in English 9 are the language in Shakespeare, How to write short stories and Writing with more description.  Overall I think that my writing, description and my vocabulary need to be improved and then I would like to learn Shakespeare, Short stories and More descriptive writing.
