Poetry Video Project

Creative Thinking:

During this project, I generated many ideas. I had to first, find a poem, then, think of my personal connection to it, and finally, add photos that related to each line of the poem. I was away for most of the project, this forced me to slightly rush the project. When it was finished, I watched it and wasn’t proud of what I created but I had to settle because there was no time for redo’s. The next day, I went to submit my project, only to find out it was deleted. I had to start over. I used it as a sign to make it better. Now I watch the video and I have a more personal connection. I added photos of me with my friends, rather than using google images. I changed the song and I think it had a large impact on the message I was attempting to send. Now, I can submit a project that I am proud of.

Ways I  want to improve are…

I want to improve my editing skills. I think the video would have been more interesting with different transitions. I also want to improve on my responsibility. This project taught me to properly save the media and double check that I can still access it. Even though it may take a bit longer, it will save me many hours of work in the long-run.
