During this assignment, we were challenged to express our opinion on whether American was justified in bombing Japan. I tried to improve my communication skills when writing this piece because I was trying to convince my audience to agree that America was justified. This was a challenge since most people have a very strong opinion on this topic so it is hard to try and justify the Americans action. As a result of this convincing challenge, I had to critically think of way to be keen and persuasive. I used many examples as to why America was justified and bounced ideas off of my teacher and friends. Another challenge I faced was trying to not be too repetitive with my examples to keep it my paragraphs interesting. I enjoyed these challenges when writing this piece and would like to keep expanding my vocabulary and writing styles.
