Reflection:

For our wood bug lab, I think we did really well.  We used Creative thinking for when we were sharing ideas and taking turns watching how many times the wood bugs would pass each strawberry.  And we used critical thinking when we were designing the area the wood bugs were going to be in with the strawberries.  This project was to show how we collected data with wood bugs and strawberries that were in different decomposition states.   We each needed to time each wood bug to see how long they would stay at each strawberry.  We noticed that they went to the third most decomposed strawberry,  apparently there were about two wood bugs that didn’t last very long.  It was interesting how they kept going around and around the box that we put them in because I’ve never seen wood bugs do that before, I guess that they were doing that because they were exploring that new environment.  Overall I had fun doing the lab and I got to learn more about them.

  1. Mika, 3.5 – You have made a good start in posting your assignment. You have uploaded your media to your blog. It is important that you integrate the language of the core competencies when describing the process by which this assignment has led you to a new understanding of your skills and abilities. Would like a bit more detail.
