Reflection
For my flag assignment, used creative thinking for when I was coming up with ideas to create my two heritages into one flag. I also used critical thinking when I was designing my flag to put my two places where I’m from together. I enjoyed this project because I learned more about my countries and found out what the symbols in my Peruvian flag means. I thought since Canada isn’t an old country with too much history that I wouldn’t find too much information, but I found many things I didn’t know about one of my heritages. I can improve my critical thinking by researching more, just to see if there’s more interesting information I can look to. Peru is a very old country with lots of history, I thought I knew almost everything about it but I now just found out what the symbols on the flag means and how the Incas survived in machu picchu. I have improved by being more creative with art (Drawing) and using my time to learn.
