After reading Feed by M.T. Anderson, my teacher told us to choose 12 symbols from the book that shows how one of the characters are struggling. I chose the main character who is Titus and used critical thinking to find the best symbols by making ethical judgments. This is a collage that I made from the symbols by using creative thinking and I also explained why I chose each symbol . I am very pleased with this assignment because it really gives a great understanding of the character even if someone hasn’t read the book.
This a project that I did after reading Romeo Juliet by Shakespeare, where I had to create a mask about a character in the story. I chose Mercutio since he was my favourite character. I used critical thinking and drew pictures on the mask that described the different characteristics Mercutio had. In the story, Mercutio ends up getting killed because he wasn’t able to regulate his emotion. From reading the book I increased my sense of social awareness. I really enjoyed the book and I am happy with my project.
