Heart Rate Expirement

Reflection:

Early in the semester our group was given the task too conduct an experiment where we made a hypothesis and took data based on our different heartrates. We focused on making our data as accurate as possible and we worked efficiently to evade loss of time. We learned how to explain our procedure and plan out our materials so we wouldn’t have setbacks. When describing the quantitative and qualitative data, we included necessary details we believed were simple yet important to understand what we did. Our group performed well together. We overcame obstacles with our critical thinking, such as when we did not realize that we needed two extra bar graphs, and we had to go back outside to the track and re-record our information. We used our creative thinking by using our utilities at hand, such as using Bailey’s Apple-Watch to record our heart rates, and using the track. Another thing we had to overcome was the snow on the track, which ended up slowing us down and we still overcame it. We used communication as we were all doing different tasks and communicated with one another while we were doing our separate contributions to the group. In conclusion I think our group did very well with this project, but there are still things that we could improve on. One of the main things we could work on if we were to do this again we would be making the infographic more visually appealing, we could have maybe put a little more colour to make it more visually appealing instead of leaving it back background and white text. Another thing we could improve on is the charts, we could have put more information and we could have added the average for our heart rates. One other thing we could have improved on is adding more notes and describing our procedure in more detail maybe adding just a few more points that could have made our infographic just that little bit better.
