Reflection: 6-8 sentences
For this part of the project I had to make a shoe that was based on a character from the story. On the shoe I needed to put items that reveled the characters traits, personality and role in the story. I picked the character Brent because he is the main character, all the canon events in the story revolve around him. While working on this project I used Creative thinking. When I felt stuck I would use my senses to generate new ideas. Instead of looking at the story from a reader’s perspective I would look at it from a character’s perspective. Once in a character’s perspective I would use the five sense (touch, sight, smell, sound and taste) to figure out what conflicts affected the character in the story. I would also make sure to do as much research as I could so that ideas could pop into my head easier. My best researching tool was the book, so I read the it over again to catch those details I might have missed the first time. I believe next time I can improve on planning out my project a bit better before starting. I rushed into putting stuff onto the shoe and it got kind of crowded, I ended up having to move stuff around to fit everything on.
Good work completing your assignment Nicolas. Some interesting artifacts on your shoe to represent the character. 5/5
