Reflection:
Critical Thinking:
We used the HBC colours but slightly brighter to make it pop but also to show what the poster was about from far away. We put pictures of fur to show what it was an ad for. We wanted the HBC stripes at the top and the bottom to frame it, which makes it look more like a poster and makes it more aesthetically pleasing. We planed an generated our ideas but sketching plans on a couple papers for a rough draft before we did the good copy. We had to adjust our productivity part way through, because in the beginning we went slower and took more time on the small things, then went faster later to get it finished. This shows we can manage our time and keep track of our progress.
I think we could have used bigger and nicer printing, looked up fonts that would draw attention. We used Latin for our slogan, since that’s what they did for slogans back then, but to be memorable and draw attention we should have done a rhyming, English slogan. We forgot to put our sources on the poster, so that wasn’t very critical thinking like.
