Enviroment Video Project

Critical thinking came into hand when there was many websites with different points and statements on Mercury and Tuna.  We decided to go with more websites that we believed were reliable and had information that many other websites had.  When we were creating our scripts we found that we needed to go onto the internet to get more information to fill some gaps in our research.  When Luísa and Riley came to my house we used creative thinking with what we were going to say to put a bit of a spin on things.  We wanted our setup to be believable like we were scientists.  We did this by, going down to the shore of Port Moody inlet, and putting images and videos of fish and oceans behind us on the TV to make it look professional.  In conclusion, I personally learned many new things from this project about Mercury making its way into Tuna and how that can affect humans as well as planet earth.

Woodbug Lab

Tiggy Hogs Reflection

In our wood bugs experiment my group demonstrated creative thinking with deciding what foods and sweets to use.  Our ending decision included using cantaloupe, chocolate, a jolly rancher, a mandarin orange, apple, and a small piece of a squished mars bar.  In each trial we wanted to use one natural food and one treat.  Our creative thinking also came into play when we were trying to figure out and make and observation on what they were doing.  Together as a group we observed the wood bugs and how they acted around the different foods provided.
