As the final project for the course, students were assigned in partners to represent a study or invention of astronomy, followed by an individual essay. For the presentation, my partner and I decided to create a model of the Hubble Telescope, since we were assigned to that invention. This process used a lot of creative thinking as you needed many different materials to complete the model, as similar as it can be to the actual space telescope. Critical Thinking was also used as we thought presenting a model would be a better presentation since it would be unique to the other powerpoint presentations. For the essay, I used creative and critical thinking when using metaphors and different types of writing, as well as what I learned from English 10, incorporating my skills from contrasting classes. Overall, this project improved my understanding of astronomy and would be very glad to experience this again.
