Reflection: I used my creative thinking to help me complete this project. I used my creative ideas that I developed by analyzing the criteria and the water cycle.

I monitored my pace while I did this project so that I could make sure that I finished it on time and that it still had fairly acceptable quality.

I explored learning materials and previous actions in this course to complete my water cycle comic.

I developed criteria necessary for completing this project so that I could evaluate my project design. This helped me monitor how my project was going so that I could produce a quality comic.

Reflection: During this lab I connected and engaged with my group members. I was able to answer my group members simple questions that we needed to know for our data. I was able to recognize that my group members had different views on how to do things. By doing this I was able to make sure that our group was able to work together to complete the assignment.

My flag

My Flag

I chose my flag because I am part Canadian and I’m also part Ukrainian. I divided my flag up between Ukrainian and Canadian flag’s by doing a canadian flag but replacing the white with the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag. The reason that I actually chose to use part of the Ukrainian flag is because my grandpa is fully Ukrainian and I also like some Ukrainian foods like perogies. I chose to put the part of the Canadian flag into my flag because I strongly identify with Canada since it’s the place I’ve lived for my entire life and I enjoy canadian things like maple syrup and bacon.

 

Reflection: (creative core competencies) I get ideas when I use my senses to explore. I do this in this project by using my sense of vision to find the most visually pleasing combination between the Ukrainian flag and the Canadian flag. I can explore materials and actions. I explored two materials in this assignment, the Canadian flag and the Ukrainian flag, I was able to use what I found in exploring  and analyzing these two documents to make the art form that is my flag assignment.

Free Verse Poem

Reflection: (Creative Core Competencies) I can experiment with different ways of doing things, I used multiple different ideas to test for my poem when trying to integrate the literary terms that were needed to wright the poem that I have inserted above. I get ideas when I use my senses to explore, I generated ideas by reaching out with my mind to think of the ideas that would work the best for my free verse poem while still meeting the criteria. I chose this image for my poem because global warming is a current issue in our world. This assignment made me use my brain to find similarities between things that were in fact very different, this skill will help me in future assignments just like this.

Reflection: We were able to select the three most important scenes from act 2 by analyzing them and finding out which ones we remembered the most because of there importance to the story in our opinions. We used what we could find neer us to use as props for our pictures so that we could make them as representing of the story as possible. I was able to use my creative knowledge to insert different backgrounds to make the images look similar to how they would look in the play. This project helped me work on my creative skills as well as my skills to find the most valuable and important information when reading a document.

Inventions Infographic

Reflection:When working on the social studies industrial revolution infographic assignment I experimented with different ways of doing things. I did this by trying many different layouts for my information and media/images until I found one that I liked. I also can ask open-ended questions and gather information. This happened when we were doing the gallery walk of everybody’s infographic projects that they did by asking questions about people’s projects and gathering information that way. In this project I also asked and responded to simple direct questions. I did this by answering the questions people had about my invention and asking other people questions about theirs. I was able to get ideas when I used my senses to explore. I used my knowledge and senses to explore the text for answers to my questions about the inventions and inventors that I was researching.
