My digital footprint
Unlike videos and articles on the internet that suggest everybody has a digital footprint that can be found by everyone on the internet I don’t exist really to/on the internet and here is some proof.
Even if you were to put in details like full name, birthdate and location you still can’t find me on the internet, I also only use social media to keep up to date with things that I like videogames, movies and card games.
If somebody posts things on social media everyone can see them and that can affect your job opportunities; if you put something bad on social media, you may lose the opportunity to get hired. If you are trying to get into a university or college, they will also look you up on social media like Instagram, twitter and Facebook. If you want to keep your digital footprint safe there are a few ways of doing that; you can put it on private mode,
not posting on social media at all or just not having social media accounts in the first place. I learned that digital footprints are and can cost you your job. If you are careful on social media though and only post good things
or nothing at all you should be good. I would share this with my peers by telling them directly because it doesn’t promote using social media.
