Hello my name is Sam and I am a new student at Heritage Woods Secondary School. I am 14 years old and was born on April 11th 2004 in Canada. I play Hockey for the Port Moody Panthers the other sports I play are soccer and track and field where I run the 100,400, and 800 meter. My interests are besides the already listed sports are reading, writing, video games, and anime. The kind of books I like are always some sort of adventure mixed with either fantasy or action. I also am a fan of just straight up horror mostly by the author Steven King. One of the more stranger things that I like to do is take chapters or episodes from books or anime and rewrite them to show what I believe could have happened then post them online for people to read as a kind of fanfiction. I play video games but most of my free time is spent watching anime nowadays but I still will play with my friends and cousins if they ask, the games that I play are The Legend of Zelda which is a style of fantasy puzzle game, Halo Splatoon and Overwatch which are all first person shooters, and Fire Emblem which is an rpg or role playing game. Lastly anime, I have watched a lot of anime so I’m just going to briefly list my favorite. Kill la Kill this is my favorite anime its about Ryuuko Matoi a seventeen year old girl whos father was murdered and the killer is the person who has the other half of her scissor blade. It is a murder mystery, action, comedy, and romance but it is mature rated which may put some people off of watching it. This is my favourite video called Waterproofing my life with FLEX TAPE by the Youtuber JonTron. The video is John watching three infomercials about the Flex brand of  products created by Phil Swift. The first is Flex Tape then Flex Seal Liquid and ending it with the Flex Seal Extreme Bucket Demo. John as always to anyone who watches his channel brings his sarcastic crude humor to the mix of things and completely not believing anything Phil is saying which leads to some very at least in my opinion funny reactions from John in the later half of the video. As always with JonTron there is strong language so keep that in mind if you plan to go watch it. Now on to favourite image.

This is my favourite image it is Ryuuko from Kill la Kill. The one thing I really like about it is that the major details has been washed out and it just looks really clean this image is also the background on my phone.  the reason I have this image as my background besides what has been stated before is that when I watched Kill la Kill the first time it was with my best friend London Fox back in 2013 and as of right now London has passed away of cancer so this image and Kill la Kill as a whole are just a reminder of the time I spent with him. This quote is spoken by the character Natsu Dragneel in the show Fairytail. As the image may be hard to read ill type it out. “The minute you think of giving up think of the reason why you held on so long” what this mean is lets say your failing a course that is essential to you getting a job that you have dreamed of. If you feel like dropping out of the course think about that job you want bad and that should be used as an incentive to get better. That is the main reason I like this quote because most people are doing things to get something out of that task and if you start to struggle it just reminds you what your working towards.
